Apple hasn’t announced the iPhone Ultra yet. However, Caviar has already introduced four exclusive collector editions.

The Russian luxury brand unveiled four customized versions of Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone Ultra. These editions feature premium materials, including crocodile leather, sterling silver, and even an 18-karat gold Apple logo. Although Apple hasn’t officially revealed the device, customers can already place pre-orders. Caviar expects to deliver the phones after Apple’s anticipated September 2026 launch.

What Exactly Is the iPhone Ultra?

Apple is widely expected to introduce its first foldable smartphone this September. According to recent leaks, the iPhone Ultra could feature a book-style foldable design with a larger inner display, a slim titanium frame measuring around 4.5mm when unfolded, and Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip.

In addition, reports suggest the phone will include a larger display than the iPhone 17 Pro Max while maintaining a thinner profile.

Camera details remain uncertain. While Caviar mentions an under-display selfie camera, several recent leaks suggest Apple may instead use a conventional punch-hole camera.

Importantly, Apple has not confirmed any of these specifications.

The Four Caviar Editions

Caviar calls the collection “Flagship.” Moreover, the company will produce only 19 units across all four editions.

Titan — $13,840 (Approx. ₹11.6 lakh)

Titan serves as the entry-level edition. It combines a black PVD-coated titanium body with a black crocodile leather back. As a result, the design delivers a clean and understated luxury appearance.

Dark Cherry — $14,270 (Approx. ₹12 lakh)

Dark Cherry features wine-colored crocodile leather alongside 24K gold-plated decorative elements. According to Caviar, the color takes inspiration from the rumored Dark Cherry finish expected on Apple’s future iPhone lineup.

Silver — $15,270 (Approx. ₹12.8 lakh)

The Silver edition replaces part of the titanium frame with sterling silver. Additionally, Caviar crafts the Apple logo entirely from solid sterling silver, giving the device a premium handcrafted finish.

Gold — $15,560 (Approx. ₹13.1 lakh)

Gold stands as the most expensive version. Instead of leather, it uses a carbon-fiber composite woven with gold threads. Furthermore, Caviar coats the frame with 24-karat gold and creates the Apple logo from solid 18-karat gold. The company designed this edition to celebrate Apple’s upcoming 50th anniversary.

However, all four editions include crocodile leather backs, which prevent MagSafe and wireless charging from working properly. Buyers therefore pay for luxury craftsmanship rather than additional functionality.

Are These Official Apple Products?

No.

Caviar operates as an independent luxury customization company. After Apple releases a new iPhone, Caviar purchases the device, redesigns its exterior using premium materials, and then delivers the finished product to customers.

The company does not modify the internal hardware. Customers still receive the same processor, cameras, display, and software that Apple originally provides.

Likewise, Caviar has customized previous flagship models, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro. The company simply transforms the exterior while leaving Apple’s engineering untouched.

How Does the iPhone Ultra Compare With the Competition?

The standard iPhone Ultra—not the Caviar version—is expected to compete with several premium foldable smartphones.

DeviceFoldable StyleExpected Price
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7Book-style~$1,899
Google Pixel Fold 3Book-style~$1,799
HONOR Magic V6Book-style~$1,600
Apple iPhone UltraBook-style~$2,300+

Apple could price the standard iPhone Ultra above every major foldable smartphone currently available. Meanwhile, Caviar’s customized editions cost six to seven times more because of their luxury materials and limited production.

Bottom Line

Caviar continues its tradition of creating luxury editions before Apple’s official launch. Although the iPhone Ultra hasn’t arrived yet, collectors can already reserve one for as much as $15,560.

Ultimately, Apple will reveal the official specifications in September. Until then, buyers should treat the rumored features and Caviar’s designs as early previews rather than confirmed Apple products.

July 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest months for smartphone launches. Samsung is expanding its foldable lineup, Nothing is introducing another stylish device, Vivo is focusing on battery life and cameras. At the same time, Motorola and Oppo continue targeting premium and mid-range buyers.

Whether you’re looking for a flagship foldable, a gaming phone, or a budget-friendly daily driver, this month has something worth watching.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8

Samsung is introducing three new foldables this month.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a wider display and a more natural book-style design. As a result, it feels much closer to a regular smartphone while still offering the benefits of a foldable screen.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra takes things further with a more premium design, upgraded battery technology, and flagship-level hardware. It targets users who want Samsung’s best foldable experience.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 offers a compact flip-phone design at a lower price than the Fold series. Therefore, it remains an attractive option for buyers who prefer portability.

Overall, Samsung continues to dominate the foldable market, and this lineup strengthens its position even further.

Nothing Phone 4B

Nothing continues to stand out with its signature transparent design and Glyph lighting system.

The Nothing Phone 4B retains the unique LED interface while adding a larger battery and an improved dual-camera setup. Moreover, the company focuses on delivering a clean Android experience with thoughtful software features.

Instead of competing directly with Samsung on raw specifications, Nothing targets users who want a distinctive smartphone. Consequently, it could appeal to buyers considering brands like Motorola or OnePlus.

Vivo V80, V80 Elite, and X Fold 6

Vivo is placing a strong emphasis on battery life and photography.

The upcoming V80 and V80 Elite are expected to feature batteries exceeding 7,000mAh along with upgraded camera systems. In addition, the Elite model may include an enhanced telephoto camera for travel and portrait photography.

However, the biggest highlight is the Vivo X Fold 6. It reportedly combines a massive 6,900mAh battery with a 200MP camera inside a foldable design.

As a result, Vivo is positioning itself as a serious competitor in the premium foldable segment.

Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro

Oppo is introducing the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro with a focus on compact flagship experiences.

Both models feature relatively compact displays, larger batteries, and upgraded cameras. Furthermore, the Pro variant includes advanced camera hardware for users who prioritize photography.

If you prefer a phone that’s easy to carry without sacrificing performance, the Reno 16 series deserves attention.

Motorola Razr 70 Series

Motorola is expanding its flip-phone portfolio with the Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus, and Razr 70 Ultra.

Each model targets a different price segment. Some versions feature MediaTek processors, while premium variants include Snapdragon chipsets.

Although Samsung still leads the foldable category, Motorola competes aggressively on value. Therefore, buyers looking for a more affordable flip phone may find the Razr series appealing.

Samsung Galaxy M47 and iQOO Z1

Two additional smartphones also deserve attention this month.

The Samsung Galaxy M47 combines an AMOLED display, a Snapdragon chipset, and up to six years of software updates. Consequently, it stands out as a strong long-term investment in the mid-range category.

Meanwhile, the iQOO Z1 targets mobile gamers with powerful performance, efficient cooling, and gaming-focused optimizations. As a result, it offers flagship-level gaming capabilities at a more competitive price.
