Apple iPhone Ultra Gets Four Limited Editions Ahead of Launch: Price and Features.

Apple hasn’t announced the iPhone Ultra yet. However, Caviar has already introduced four exclusive collector editions.

The Russian luxury brand unveiled four customized versions of Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone Ultra. These editions feature premium materials, including crocodile leather, sterling silver, and even an 18-karat gold Apple logo. Although Apple hasn’t officially revealed the device, customers can already place pre-orders. Caviar expects to deliver the phones after Apple’s anticipated September 2026 launch.

Apple is widely expected to introduce its first foldable smartphone this September. According to recent leaks, the iPhone Ultra could feature a book-style foldable design with a larger inner display, a slim titanium frame measuring around 4.5mm when unfolded, and Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip.

In addition, reports suggest the phone will include a larger display than the iPhone 17 Pro Max while maintaining a thinner profile.

Camera details remain uncertain. While Caviar mentions an under-display selfie camera, several recent leaks suggest Apple may instead use a conventional punch-hole camera.

Importantly, Apple has not confirmed any of these specifications.

The Four Caviar Editions

Caviar calls the collection “Flagship.” Moreover, the company will produce only 19 units across all four editions.

Titan — $13,840 (Approx. ₹11.6 lakh)

Titan serves as the entry-level edition. It combines a black PVD-coated titanium body with a black crocodile leather back. As a result, the design delivers a clean and understated luxury appearance.

Dark Cherry — $14,270 (Approx. ₹12 lakh)

Dark Cherry features wine-colored crocodile leather alongside 24K gold-plated decorative elements. According to Caviar, the color takes inspiration from the rumored Dark Cherry finish expected on Apple’s future iPhone lineup.

Silver — $15,270 (Approx. ₹12.8 lakh)

The Silver edition replaces part of the titanium frame with sterling silver. Additionally, Caviar crafts the Apple logo entirely from solid sterling silver, giving the device a premium handcrafted finish.

Gold — $15,560 (Approx. ₹13.1 lakh)

Gold stands as the most expensive version. Instead of leather, it uses a carbon-fiber composite woven with gold threads. Furthermore, Caviar coats the frame with 24-karat gold and creates the Apple logo from solid 18-karat gold. The company designed this edition to celebrate Apple’s upcoming 50th anniversary.

However, all four editions include crocodile leather backs, which prevent MagSafe and wireless charging from working properly. Buyers therefore pay for luxury craftsmanship rather than additional functionality.

Are These Official Apple Products?

No.

Caviar operates as an independent luxury customization company. After Apple releases a new iPhone, Caviar purchases the device, redesigns its exterior using premium materials, and then delivers the finished product to customers.

The company does not modify the internal hardware. Customers still receive the same processor, cameras, display, and software that Apple originally provides.

Likewise, Caviar has customized previous flagship models, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro. The company simply transforms the exterior while leaving Apple’s engineering untouched.

How Does the iPhone Ultra Compare With the Competition?

The standard iPhone Ultra—not the Caviar version—is expected to compete with several premium foldable smartphones.

DeviceFoldable StyleExpected Price
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7Book-style~$1,899
Google Pixel Fold 3Book-style~$1,799
HONOR Magic V6Book-style~$1,600
Apple iPhone UltraBook-style~$2,300+

Apple could price the standard iPhone Ultra above every major foldable smartphone currently available. Meanwhile, Caviar’s customized editions cost six to seven times more because of their luxury materials and limited production.

Bottom Line

Caviar continues its tradition of creating luxury editions before Apple’s official launch. Although the iPhone Ultra hasn’t arrived yet, collectors can already reserve one for as much as $15,560.

Ultimately, Apple will reveal the official specifications in September. Until then, buyers should treat the rumored features and Caviar’s designs as early previews rather than confirmed Apple products.
